Bradford is a quaint Vermont town on the Connecticut River in Orange county.
Located between the Northeast Kingdom and White River Junction, it has a population of 2,619.
It was chartered on May 3rd, 1770. Originally named Mooretown, it was renamed Bradford after the American Revolution (named after William Bradford, governor of Plymouth Colony).
Schools in Bradford include the East Orange Supervisory Union, Bradford Elementary School, Oxbow High School, and River Bend Technical Career Center.
